Tera Martin Del Campo
Councilmember, Represents District 4
Representing District 4, Tera Martin Del Campo, was born and raised in the beloved town of Duarte. Her parents migrated from England in the ‘70s and purchased their first home here. She has a firm grasp of the City’s history and is honored to serve as a continued part of its growth and evolution, with plans for maintaining its classic charm. She and her husband bought their first home in Duarte so that their children could experience an amazing upbringing similar to her own. They enjoy taking walks on Duarte’s historic bike trail, along with their three sons, two dogs, and bearded dragon.
A proud alumna of Duarte Unified School District, she achieved a successful career in auditing and oversight management for public entities in the fields of Risk Management and Workers’ Compensation. As Vice President of Operations, she is a critical thinker with exemplary leadership skills and compassionate, forward-thinking values. She is skilled in data analytics, identifying deficiencies, and developing creative solutions to complex issues.
Her love for Duarte runs deep. She participated in student government from elementary school through high school, was an enthusiastic pep squad member at Duarte High School, and currently serves on the Royal Oaks STEAM Academy PTO Board. She is proud to serve the city she holds so near and dear to her heart.
Fun Facts About Tera:
She is a social butterfly who is not known to turn down a karaoke microphone, despite not having a singing voice. Her interests include dancing, cooking, fashion, and working out. She has a strong love for the arts which led her to moonlight as a rhythm guitarist in an all-female rock band as well as a photographer. She was lucky enough to grow up on the same street (and be babysat by) her inspiration for public service and dear friend, Tzeitel Paras-Caracci.
