The Parks and Recreation Commission works with City staff in matters pertaining to parks, recreation areas, facilities, programs, and other associated activities, and cooperates with other governmental agencies and civic groups in the advancement of sound park and recreation planning and programming.

Meetings are open to the public and held on the second Monday of each odd-numbered month at 7 PM in the Duarte Community Center.
