How early am I to reserve the Community Center for a birthday party/wedding?
The community center can be reserved 180 days in advance for a wedding reception. All other activities can reserve the Community Center 90 days in advance.
Is financial aid available for City classes?
The City currently does not have a financial assistance program to cover fees associated with recreation classes.
What are the requirements for participating in the Duarte Senior Center?
Participation in the classes, programs and services offered by the senior center is restricted to Duarte residents who are 55 years of age or older. Persons who receive meals at the senior Center must be at least 60 years of age or the spouse of someone 60 years of age or older.
What are the requirements for using the Duarte Teen Center?
The Duarte Teen Center is open to High School age teens who live or attend school in Duarte Unified School District boundaries. The Teen Center includes a state of the art computer center, a game room, a boxing program and tutoring service.
Do I need to make a reservation to have a party at the park?
Yes, a reservation is required to use a park for groups over 40. Please contact Parks and Recreation at (626) 357-7931 to make a reservation.
