DUARTE, CA, May 23, 2018 – Are you ready to enjoy family, friends, and movies in the comfort of Duarte’s great outdoors? If the answer is yes, the City of Duarte has a full schedule of family friendly films planned for the Duarte community this summer.
Want to enjoy a film while relaxing in the pool? Duarte Parks and Recreation will be hosting two family “dive-in” movies. Grab your swimsuit, beach chair, and the whole family for a fun movie night at the Duarte Pool, located at 1600 Huntington Drive from 7:30-10:00 pm. Please note that only small personal flotation devices are allowed. Reservations are required to attend one (or both) movies. Paddington 2 will be screened on Friday, July 20th, and Despicable Me 3 on Friday, August 17th. There is a $3 entrance fee for adults, and $2 for children which includes a BBQ dinner.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Looking for a movie experience under the stars? Come together with friends and neighbors from the Duarte community and see a screening of Coco on Saturday, July 28th at Maxwell Elementary School, 132 Euclid Avenue. The movie will begin at sunset.
