Name New City Park

The City will continue to take submittals to name its newest park through December 4, 2017.  Please submit suggestions via the City's social media accounts or by emailing

Construction is slated to begin in a few months on Duarte’s newest park. The former Third Street Park will be relocated to the corner of Oak and Third Streets and will be the City’s first themed park, honoring Duarte’s historic citrus industry and will include an orange fruit themed playground, native river rock walls embedded with Duarte historic citrus crate labels and more.

Public input on the naming of the new park is requested at the next Duarte Parks and Recreation Commission meeting at Duarte City Hall, 1600 Huntington Drive starting at 7:00p m on Monday, December 11th.
