COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAY AND DOCUMENT SHREDDING EVENT ON APRIL 8

 

DUARTE, CA, February 19, 2017 – Duarte and Burrtec Waste will hold its bi-annual Duarte Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at two convenient drop-off locations where residents can dispose of large refuse items and e-waste. The locations are the Duarte Civic Center at 1600 Huntington Drive and Beardslee Elementary School at 1212 Kellwill Way, Duarte, CA, 91010. Please note that at this event, hazardous waste will not be accepted. For household hazardous waste information, please call (800) 238-0172 or visit dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/hhw/

 

At the Beardslee location only, residents may also take advantage of free “document shredding” as well as free compost materials for their gardens. For compost materials, residents are encouraged to bring a vehicle that can accommodate the load. Burrtec will provide the shovels.
