Toilet Exchange Program

Only those residential customers who live in the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District boundaries and participated in the program and received a High Efficiency Toilet (HET).  This is a reminder about Rule #5 below. 

Rules:

1.  New construction or renovations where a toilet was not previously installed do not qualify.

2.  Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must bring a current water bill and a photo ID. The water bill must show the name of the water company and the account number for the address where the HETs will be installed. Receipts, cancelled checks, homeowners association bills or mobilehome park utility bills do not qualify as the water bill. 

3.  There is a maximum of 2 free HETs per household. 

4.  Those who have previously participated in the program and already received 2 ULFTs (Ultra Low Flush Toilets) and/or HETs at any time in the past, are not eligible to participate again. 

5. To complete your participation in this program, you must return your old toilet on Saturday, March 31, 2007 between 8am and 12pm at Duarte High School. 

6.  Measure: existing toilets must be at least 10" distance from wall to anchor bolts.
